"The growing theological understanding that God made us as whole beings, that the body and the soul or spirit cannot be split off from one another but are, in fact, intricately and inextricably bound up with one another, leads us, by implication to offer ministry that takes our members physical needs seriously. Health Education offered by a parish nurse, then is rightfully a part of a holistic church program".
