Mission
The mission of the Minnesota Faith Health Consortium
is to promote the alignment of our organizations, people and resources
to work together with community partners so that the health of communities
is enhanced. We will promote health and human flourishing of all
persons living in communities by:
- Demonstrating the relevance of faith in the life
of the community and professional practice
- Increasing understanding of the links between
faith and health
- Teaching knowledge and skills for engaging people
and communities in creating just structures and compassionate
ministries that effectively promote health, prevent disease, foster
civic and congregational involvement, and ensure access to health
and pastoral care
- Engaging in scholarship, including applied research
related to faith and health
- Enhancing leadership capacity to link faith and
health
