History

The Minnesota Faith Health Consortium began when representatives from Fairview Health Services, the University of Minnesota and Luther Seminary met together to discuss the future of healthcare. The ideas that were shared culminated in having Dr. Gary Gunderson of the Interfaith Health Program in Atlanta, Georgia lead a series of planning sessions that resulted in a verbal agreement to work together to enhance the health and well being of individuals and families within the State of Minnesota.

At present, the Consortium coordinates activities with Fairview Health Services and Luther Seminary and a wide variety of community organizations. The Minnesota Faith Health Consortium Coordinator is Patricia Peterson. She can be reached at 612-672-2807 or by emailing, Pat Peterson.
